C-CREC Designation
Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultant is a designation awarded by the International Association of Real Estate Consultants to recognize exemplary consumer care and quality in real estate consulting. To obtain the designation, the designee candidate must have had five years of continuous experience in the real estate profession or a real estate-related occupation or a combination of three years of experience and at least one nationally recognized professional designation. The candidate must:
- attend the required consulting/designation courses,
- design a business model for his or her consulting business, andÂ
- verify (from consumers) that he or she has had quantifiable experience as a real estate consultant.
Renewed annually, the C-CREC designation requires proof of significant consumer satisfaction from the consumers served and compliance with the IAREC code of ethics.
